Vincent Anthony Vaughn was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and raised in Lake Forest, Illinois. His parents, Vernon Lindsay Vaughn and Sharon Eileen DePalmo Vaughn, were divorced in 1991. He has two sisters, Victoria and Valeri, who are both older than Vince. In 1988, he was elected president of his Senior class at Lake Forest High School.
