Victoria BeckhamVictoria 'Posh Spice' Beckham This double Aries is one outspoken and determined Ram. 'If I set my mind to something I do it. My biggest wish for all of us is that we are happy, successful, and that we stay true to ourselves.' Victoria Beckham's Tarot Reading Victoria Caroline Adams was a ballerina when she was a youngster in the United Kingdom. She has a sister, Louise, and a brother, Christian. Better known as Posh Spice of the singing group Spice Girls, she found her band mates Emma Bunton, Melanie Chisholm, Geri Halliwell and Melanie Brown in a classified advertisement. According to her IMdb bio, 'After completing the 3-year course at Lanie Arts, she answered an ad in The Stage magazine, which was looking for 5 girls who could sing and dance.' The Spice Girls went on to massive popularity with studio albums, Spice (1996), Spiceworld (1997) and Forever (2000), as well as sold out concerts and a film in 1997 also called Spiceworld. They won numerous awards during their career including the 1997 MTV Video Music Award for Best Dance Video for their hit single 'Wannabe.' In 1998 they won 3 American Music Awards. Victoria married English soccer star David Beckham in 1999. After the band broke up, the girls all launched solo careers. Victoria has won a few awards of her own, from Heat magazine's Best Dressed Pop Artist of the year to Best Dressed Couple, along with husband David, to Best Female Haircut at London's Pantene Pro-V Awards (all in 2000) to Best Dressed International Female at Elle 2003 Style Awards in Madrid, Spain. She wrote her autobiography, Learning to Fly, which became the UK's third best-selling work of non-fiction in 2001. Her first album, Victoria Beckham came out in 2002 and rose to the number 10 spot on UK album charts, with singles 'Not Such An Innocent Girl' and 'A Mind of Its Own' both climbing to number 6. The Real Beckhams DVD (2003) reached the number 3 spot in the UK, featuring singles 'This Groove' and 'Let Your Head Go.' Says Victoria, 'My family is my first priority but I don't think that means I should have to give up work. I am lucky that David is very supportive.' She and David have three sons: Brooklyn, born March 4, 1999, Romeo, born September 1, 2002 and Cruz, born February 20, 2005. In February of 2006 Victoria told the Sunday Mirror, 'I'm never going to sing again, unless it was a chance to do something with the Spice Girls. I don't really miss the shows we did together. I miss the girls more. I see Geri a lot -- I love her, she's amazing. I speak to the others from time to time. I love them too and miss them. We're all still doing our own thing ....' Victoria launched her own jeans label, dVb denim, in 2006 as well as a line of sunglasses, which she sports at World Cup games. The Beckhams, along with the Coty fragrance manufacturer, put out a line of 'his and her' perfume called 'Intimately Beckham' and for several years Victoria has created handbags and jewelry for the Japanese company, Samantha Thavasa. Her second book, co-written by Hadley Freeman, deputy fashion editor of the Guardian and a contributor to Vogue, entitled That Extra Half an Inch: Hair, Heels and Everything In Between came out the same year and went to number 2 on the Sunday Times Books Charts. In 2007 she announced that Simon Fuller is producing a half-hour unscripted reality TV series for NBC based on the Beckham's move from England to California now that David has signed a multi-million dollar contract with the Los Angeles Galaxy football team. Meanwhile, her sons Brooklyn and Romeo were spotted in 'the children's Wimbledon blazer' by Ralph Lauren at Geri Halliwell's daughter Bluebell's christening April 22, 2007. Sun in Aries means Victoria believes in being totally honest -- true to herself and her own vision and convictions no matter what. Personal honor and authenticity are her ideals. She is quite assertive with less facility in the receptive arts of relating to others, listening, nurturing and harmonizing. Learning to be more receptive and appreciative of others' contributions, ideas and feelings would go a long way in improving her relationships. Her impatience to get on with things may cause her to be rather insensitive and to therefore alienate others unnecessarily. She may try to accomplish her ends by using anger or some version of a temper tantrum. She would gain much by learning to slow down, relax and just let things be sometimes, but her energetic, restless nature rarely allows her to do this. Mercury in Aries makes her doubly outspoken and direct -- always eager to express her ideas and opinions. She doesn't mind opposing the consensus and stirring up a little controversy. She never seems to have enough time to do all she wants to, saying, 'I don't have a nanny or a housekeeper, and I only have a cleaner for one hour each week. I finish work and go home. I cook the dinner. I run into Tesco and do the housework in the evening.' With Venus in Pisces she is tremendously softhearted and sympathetic. She gives very selflessly and devotedly to those she loves and often allows others to become overly dependent upon her. Says Victoria, 'I keep fit by running after my three boys all day.' She idealizes love and has a very romantic vision of what it can be. She and David were married on July 4, 1999. Mars in Gemini also makes her energetic, restless and forever on the go. Her active mind is always buzzing with ideas and she finds it difficult sometimes to relax and take time to replenish herself. She tends to live on nervous energy. She often scatters her energies into so many activities at once that she cannot follow through on some of them. She needs variety, change and mental challenges. However, she has the power of endurance and a dogged determination to overcome all obstacles. Although she is patient and steady when pursuing an objective, when she finally loses patience she loses it completely. In addition to having great tenacity and perseverance, she has a daring and rebellious side as well. Mars trine Uranus ensures she is dynamic, decisive and somewhat impulsive. She responds quickly and spontaneously to challenges, and enjoys vigorous physical activities that require fast reflexes and a good sense of rhythm and timing. She has an abundance of energy and vitality and a restless desire to see progress. She is individualistic and makes a good leader, spearheading new projects and inspiring others to act. Jupiter in Pisces shows she cares about the underdog. She may also be unusually impressionable or have highly developed psychic sensitivity. Jupiter square Neptune gives her a need to escape from the demands of everyday life and reach out to something bigger, more exotic and more exciting. Travel is good for her. She may also daydream, fantasize or philosophize a great deal. Saturn in Gemini reveals she doubts her own intelligence and mental capacities and may work very hard in order to compensate for this. She is often overly serious and making small talk can be difficult for her. With N. Node conjunct Jupiter/Pluto she tends to have far-reaching associations and a strong desire to be involved with people of high society. She is likely to achieve great success through joint ventures and could do well in some political activity. 'You have to remember that when you are a performer you become a celebrity, but you are not saving lives. It's not that important.' |
