Upper Darby, Pennsylvania, USA

This Taurus, best known as a comedian, is also is a writer, actress, wife and mother.

'Somewhere around the fifth or seventh grade I figured out that I could ingratiate myself to people by making them laugh. Essentially, I was just trying to make them like me. But after a while it became part of my identity.'

Elizabeth Stamatina 'Tina' Fey was born near Philadelphia to a mother of Greek ancestry and a father with Scottish and German blood -- Jeanne and Donald Fey. She went to Upper Darby High School and after her 1988 graduation, headed south to Charlottesville and the University of Virginia. In 1992, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Drama, she took off for Chicago's comedy Mecca, The Second City. 'The first time I went to see a Second City show,' she recalled, 'I was in awe of everything. I just wanted to touch the same stage that Gilda Radner had walked on. It was sacred ground.' In 1997 she landed a writing gig on NBC's 'Saturday Night Live.' By 1999 she was head writer for the show -- the first woman to hold that job. 'I think if you ask any of us here,' confided Tina, 'we all dreamed of ending up on 'Saturday Night Live.' I remember thinking, I'll just keep doing this as long as I can get away with it.' In 2000 Tina and the 'SNL' writing team received an Emmy. She also began co-anchoring 'Weekend Update' with Jimmy Fallon. In 2004, Amy Poehler replaced Fallon, forming the segment's first two-woman anchor team.

On June 3, 2001 Tina married 'SNL' composer, Jeff Richmond. They have a daughter named Alice. Tina left 'SNL' after the 2005 season to create NBC sitcom, '30 Rock' (code for NBC's HQ at 30 Rockefeller Plaza). Based on her days at 'SNL,' she writes and stars in the show. She received an Emmy nod for her portrayal of Liz Lemon in the second season of '30 Rock' and the show won the 2007 Emmy for Outstanding Comedy Series. The same year, she snagged the Number One spot on TIME Magazine's list of 100 People Who Shape Our World. In 2008, she won the Golden Globe for Best Actress in a Comedy and the SAG Award for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Comedy Series. As a writer, Tina and the writing staff of '30 Rock' have taken part in the strike by the Writers Guild of America.

Sun in Taurus ensures that she is capable of tremendous determination and commitment. Her ability to follow through is one of her greatest assets. She is also very practical. She wants results for her efforts. With a significant need for stability and peace, she puts a lot of energy into professional achievement, comfort and security. She works very hard but she also wants to enjoy what she has worked for. Her needs are simple and she is easy to please. While she is not emotionally demanding, she does want plenty of physical affection. Because of her authenticity and gentle strength, others depend upon her for support. She dislikes sudden changes, but usually maintains her composure. She loves the beauty of the natural world and may prefer a serene country setting to an urban life-style. She has an innate sense of harmonizing with nature and the patience to nurture something into being -- be it a garden, child or creative project. She is an excellent mother because she follows her natural instincts.

Sun opposite Neptune tells us she is extremely sensitive, compassionate and giving. Her ideals and spiritual values motivate her, and she cannot live only for personal gain. There must be an element of beauty, magic or inspiration in anything she does. Not surprisingly, the stars say she is well suited to the arts, theater and music. Sun trine Pluto reveals she has a profound belief in her own ability to emerge victoriously from any difficulty. She has tremendous inner resources and strength. Iron-willed and zealous, she pursues her goals with complete dedication and singleness of purpose. She may be somewhat compulsive, even fanatical at times. She likes to live intensely and has no respect for people who are weak or who avoid confronting their own destiny.

With Moon in Libra her desire for harmonious relationships and surroundings is so strong that she is inclined to avoid personal confrontations or any expression of unpleasant emotions. She is an idealist who would like to paint the world in pastel colors and live in peace and harmony. She is able to see similarity and unity with people who are vastly different from herself, and befriend many different types of people. She is a considerate and thoughtful friend with a flair for making others feel accepted and appreciated. Moon in the 3rd house tells us she often makes decisions based on personal reasons. Even when she thinks she's being rational, her emotions influence her thoughts a great deal. She is comfortable sharing confidences about emotions and personal matters, which enables others to express their own inner feelings with her. She has good psychological insight into others.

Moon trine Venus indicates she believes daily acts of kindness are essential to the happiness and success of a relationship. She knows how to make others feel cherished and enjoys especially good relationships with women. Moon conjunct Jupiter reveals she is tolerant and forgiving, always ready to overlook mistakes and give others a second chance. She expects the best from people and draws it out of them. She enjoys making people comfortable and happy. Because of her emotional generosity, her life is rich with friends, as well as financial blessings.

Leo rising makes her ferociously proud and somewhat vain. She likes to be seen as somebody special. She is not timid, meek or self-effacing and is rarely content being in the background. She is a natural leader who does not take orders from others very well. She must have something creative of her own that she can develop according to her own vision. She likes to put her own personal stamp on whatever she does. She has a strong sense of dignity, self-respect and personal honor, and admires others who are strong individuals like herself. When she befriends someone, she is tremendously loyal and will go to extraordinary lengths to make that person happy. She is very giving and generous, but her gifts are never anonymous -- she expects recognition and appreciation for them. She also expects the intense loyalty that she offers to her dear ones to be reciprocated. However, she often has trouble working with people who are as strong as herself, for she does not share the lead role easily. If she is not in the lead role, she will compete with the person who is. She has great heart and courage and people often look to her for strength and encouragement. She always has her best face forward and rarely allows others to see her feeling disheartened or vulnerable.

Mars sextile her ascendant says she is assertive and bold. She is willing to be the first person to speak up and make her position known, and to strike out on her own if necessary. Unlike her Moon, her rising sign tells us she generally gets along better with men than with women because her approach is quite direct and sometimes tactless and insensitive as well. She can be a bit too forceful. However, her boldness is her calling card and most people feel that she can at least be trusted to be honest with them.
