Well before she got the part of Sarah in In America, actress Samantha Morton had been quietly building a solid reputation for herself -- in fact, she'd been doing so since the tender age of 13. After three years in England's Central Junior Television Workshop, she joined the theater group The Royal Court and really began to hone her talents. Meanwhile, she kept busy doing radio plays and small television parts. From there, Morton went on to enjoy a string of successful small-screen roles in BBC/A&E productions.
